I have had a 2 hitachi drill drivers prior to this De Walt. Similar price but by no means as effective. I was a little concerned about the battery size and life, but I needn't have worried they last and last and there's always the second to fall back on. Really impressed and would buy again.

Quality drill at an excellent price. Bought for the maintenance team at Harvington Hall. The feedback from the team has been excellent. It nice to have a drill thar simply performs and does the job. Battery life is also very good and with the second battery you never ha e to wait to use it.

Well pleased with this. Until now, I’ve had one of the de Walt 2 handed corded hammer drills and also a cheap black and decker handheld cordless. The BD struggles with the smallest of tasks (forget any masonry holes) and the corded DW is an absolute beast and just too much for most household diy....
