Upgraded from Pro Blend 6 which had 900W. That machine was overloaded. At 1500W this model just absorbs a full jar and blends while you can be busy with other things...love the timer feature. Well worth the upgrade so far. Wish Philips had PARTS...worry if anything needs replacing...can't find any...
