The trimmer does work. I think the aspect ratio of the image can be deceiving, as the actual width of the blade is only about 2cm. This should be good for trimming select areas of the beard, but it takes long when trimming a full face beard.

I don't know why I keep experimenting with beard trimmers when nothing beats a cheap Conair. This trimmer is definitely of better quality and style, with a more powerful head and longer-lasting battery than cheaper devices. However, functionally it does not get the job done.

I am pleased with this product. The build quality seems to have decreased slightly form the older removable battery models, it might just be the type of plastic used to give it the shiny effect. Over all Wahl quality can't go wrong.

I tried to trim my beard on several occasions with this for it to only struggle with doing just that, and that was even after letting the razor charge for two days straight. Secondly, there are not enough holders for the accessories that come with it. Be careful before purchase.
