The Phillips 5000 series, wet and dry shaver gives a very close shave indeed, probably 97% as close as a razor. It is very comfortable too hold and has a sideburn trimmer built in, so no taking the head off to fit it.I. Love it much more than my old one.

This is my first rotary shaver. Charged quickly out of the box, within an hour, and I used it firstly on dry skin. I found that a bit draggy, so slapped a bit of warm water on to help it glide, and that gave me a really good shave of around three days of growth.

This shaver from Phillips is brilliant, it's a genuinely close shave, very comfortable to use, gets all the tricky hairs and lasts a long time between charges. It's very quiet when in use and looks smart too. The desktop charger is a nice touch also.
