So, so satisfying. Works like a charm. My only complaint would be that the back of the head isn't built strong enough to pound with, but it works so well for its intended purpose that I really can't complain. I've had a few serious misstrikes, and the shaft has been just fine.

Works well but as others stated, edge is a bit soft. Had a few little nicks after splitting 1/2 cord. Feels nice in the hands and great length for me at 6'1" tall.

I never thought chopping wood would be fun.... But this just slices through so easily it now is so incredibly satisfying to use. Also it comes super sharp like a knife, so be careful haha. Lastly, the shaft is incredibly light which is great, but it's also super durable.

Never used a non-wooden handled axe before, so it took some getting used to. I've always tended to swing axes with maximum force, but doing so with this o lne isn't required.. I had log chunks flying off pretty far. Came sharp enough, and held its edge through a day of camping.
