As with all things Braun this hand blender is very well made and represents excellent value for money. Perhaps the only reason for not affording a top rating all round was that my old blender had two speeds and came with a whisk.

The multiquick blender is easy to use and quite lightweight. I have used it for blending soup successfully, and it is also very easy to clean after use. I have not tried the chopper yet but it looks sturdy and well-made.

Good Points: ok, not sure about reliability as only had it 2 months. The last 2 I had failed after 13 months due to spindle drive failure- the metal spindle wore out the plastic hole so no drive. Improvement Points: use metal to metal connection for the drive.
