I bought this drill to fit in to a drill stand, I needed a drill with a collar ( where the handle fits! ), and this drill had the longest collar I could find, very suitable for what I wanted. You can't buy battery drills with collars so a corded drill is the obvious choice.

Bought it to put blinds on window. Haven't been sure it will cope drilling in concrete above windows. I would say excellent all around drill. Enough strong for concrete. Lightweight and universal. Metal mount for drill bits easy to use.

The drill has a good range of torque for drilling into different materials. Only thing I found annoying was the keyless chuck. Loosened off a few times during hammer drilling so you have to really go for it when tightening the chuck.

Good drill, but I don't care for the keyless chuck. I tend to change drill bits often and soon had blisters as my fingers kept slipping on the knurled twist rings. Perhaps wrapping tape round the rings might help, but my solution was to remove the chuck and replace it with a conventional keyed...

I bought this last year but only used it for the first time today. Was drilling screw holes in a doorframe to put up a handrail and after 1st hole the drill bit is jammed in the drill and it will not release it. Still works but cannot get drill bit out so is very limited

The one fatal flaw this drill has it that it won't hold the bit in the chuck securely if drilling into concrete. You can tighten it fully by hand or go for the option of 1 click backwards to try 'lock' the chuck too but neither is effective.
